NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the City of Gardena, (herein referred to as “City”) will be hosting two community meetings to discuss GTrans’ Service Restoration Plan and the new pilot Microtransit plan. The first meeting will be held online on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. via Zoom. The second meeting will be in-person on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. at GTrans. GTrans’ customers and community members are encouraged to attend and provide feedback.
GTrans has been working on restoring service to its lines that were modified due to the COVID-19 pandemic and bus operator shortages. The modified schedules continue to remain in effect due to nationwide bus operator shortages. GTrans wishes to obtain feedback on the Service Restoration Plan and provide an update on the efforts to restore service. Additionally, GTrans is seeking to launch a new pilot Microtransit service which is a rideshare program that will offer rides within the City of Gardena. GTrans wishes to obtain insights from the community that will help with the planning of the service. GTrans will share the information through the Service Restoration Plan & Microtransit Community Meetings.
Customers and members of the community are invited to attend this meeting to hear about the plans and ask questions. Following the presentation, members of the public wishing to provide comments will be given three (3) minutes to speak. The 12:00 p.m. virtual meeting will be conducted via zoom:

The 6:00 p.m. in-person meeting will be held at GTrans located at 13999 S Western Ave, Gardena, CA 90249.
