GTrans is selling a limited amount of TAP Minis which are keychains that can hold Stored Value and passes!
TAP wearables function like a regular TAP card. Customers who purchase a Mini can register it online at taptogo.net and reload online or return to GTrans to add Stored Value.

- How much will the Mini cost to purchase?
TAP wearables are sold for $5 each.
- Can I transfer the fare from my physical TAP card to the wearable?
Yes, you may transfer the fare from your TAP card onto the TAP wearable by calling TAP.
- Where can customers purchase the wearables?
The TAP Mini can be purchased at GTrans; however, there is a limited amount. Other wearables can be purchased at Metro Customer Centers.
- How do I load money on the TAP wearable?
The fares can be loaded at GTrans at the time of the purchase. They can also be loaded online, at a TAP Vending Machine or TAP Vendor Retail location. TAP wearables function just like a TAP card. Stored Value and any passes can be added to the card. Please note that GTrans’ buses only accepts Stored Value or the EZ Transit Pass.
- Does the TAP wearable work for reduced fares?
Currently, the TAP wearable does not function for reduced fares (Seniors, disabled, or students). TAP is looking into exploring this option. Any questions regarding TAP wearables for reduced fare should be directed to TAP.
- Can I transfer my balance back to a physical TAP card if I wanted to?
Yes, customers can transfer their fares back to a physical TAP card. Please be aware that the TAP wearable will be deactivated. To do so, please call TAP.
